tv on dvd

June 24th, 2005 by Kurt

I felt much better today (for those of you not keeping up, I was sick yesterday), so I headed to work. Worked in the morning, went to lunch, worked in the afternoon.

This afternoon, I took a break from working to polish up my screenplay. I’ve been working on a short film that’s based on Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time. It’s a fantasy series that I think is pretty neato. Well, right now, I’ve got this short narrative that I wrote and sent to my co-writer and will, based on his input, then adapt it into a full-fledged script. I want to make sure that it’ll make sense to audiences that are not familiar with the series, while having deeper meaning for those who are. If you want to read it, be my guest. Any comments you have about it would be appreciated.

After work, I came home…

Becky wasn’t home because she and Sharon were out getting dinner. It’s this whole thing: There’s this place called Dream Dinners. And what you do is, go to the place (after making sure to make an appointment), they give you all the stuff to make the meals, you do all the preparing there, and take the stuff, ready-to-cook, home with ya. So you come home, and it’s like a cooking show. You get the pre-measured ingredients together, add some heat, explain to your audience every step you’re doing, and Bam! you’ve got a meal. Tonight was Italian Parmesan Chicken. Not bad.

While Becky and Sharon were out preparing the ingredients, I was at home watching Seinfeld season 4 on DVD. I had already watched the entire season, but I’m watching it again with the commentaries and behind-the-scenes stuff. I always love watching the documentaries and behind-the-scenes stuff on how movies are made, and I love Seinfeld, so this is perfect.

After dinner arrived with my fiancée and her mother, it was prepared, and it was consumed.

After that, the three of us watched some more of my DVD TV collection: Arrested Development season 1. Boy, that show is really funny.
