Easy step-by-step guide
Let’s see.
Step one: wake up.
A tough one, but I manage.
Step two: get up.
Even harder. I fail quite a few times and even step back a step before eventually moving on.
Step three: shower.
Not so hard once step two is accomplished, just turn on the water and stand underneath.
Step four: drive to work.
I’ve really got my momentum going now, I hardly even remember doing this.
Step five: work.
Not bad, with all the students getting settled in (and having connection problems) with the regular service requests still coming in, we’ve no lack of stuff to do.
Step six (takes place in the midst of Step five): lunch.
Enjoyable. Since Natalie was in the office (it’s Thursday) and I’m not going to see her until the semester ends (the semester starts for me next week and I will only work Monday, Wednesday, Friday), so we all went to CPK. I got the Sicilian. It wasn’t bad. Indeed, it was good.
Step seven: drive away from work.
Again, pretty easy to do. I actually tried something new today. I drove home (my entire 42-66 minute commute) in silence. No radio, do singing or talking on my part either. It’s amazing how much you miss. I can’t think of anything in particular, so it must not actually be true.
Step eight: dinner.
Marie Callender’s with Becky and Sharon.
Step nine: Do stuff you actually want to do.
Tonight it consisted of fixing Sharon’s DSL (the DirecTV installer had plugged in a phone line with out a filter), catching up on some tivo’ed shows (College Jeopardy makes my feel good about myself) and blogging.
Step ten: repeat as needed

Seriously, the 25th was last week. Can you keep us informed more often! Okay, I can’t always talk, I don’t update every day but I miss the computer jargon. Mostly, I never know what the heck you are talking about but the part where you tell us where you ate dinner is fun. Let us know how school is going too! How is the Beach now that Mr. Go Beach is gone? Is it different?
