A bloger returns
That’s me.
I have returned from my decent and will now, as my lovely wife mentioned, be bloging much more.
So, some updates:
I’ve been working at Toyota Material Handling, USA for six months now, and it is great. Don’t get me wrong, it is still a job, but at least I don’t loathe coming into the office everyday.
School run 17 weeks this semester instead of the usual 16, so that was tiresome. It was actually kind of funny too, because most professors have tried-and-true lesson plans that are tailored for a 16 week semester, so in almost every one of my classes there was a week of doin’ nothin’. In one class my professor canceled class for the whole week, in another we all went to the on-campus pub during the scheduled class time.
Well, this semester is over and I’ve only got one more to go (assuming I pass all my classes.) Good news? Three more classes to go. Bad news? The schedule for those three classes sucks. There are no conflicts, but my school schedule next semester will be from 1400-1715 on Mondays/Wednesdays, and from 1400-1515 on Tuesday/Thursdays. Now, that would be a nice schedule if you worked in a restaurant, but I work in an office that needs me there from 0800-1700. So we’ll see what’ll happen.
A couple more interesting tidbits for your enjoyment. I’m breaking through on a new frontier with this post. I’ve bloged from my PDA, I’ve bloged from my mobile phone, and now I’m bloging from linux! Yup, I’m currently running Fedora Core 6 (dual boot with XP) on my laptop. Since I’ve got a bit of free time until school begins, I decided to become more familiar with linux. Looking forward to it.
I’m also working this week. Officially, TMHU offices are closed this week, but since I work in IT, we need someone on-site just in case someone is here that needs help. It also gives us a chance to reboot the servers and whatnot that we are unable to do when the users are here.
So, auf wiedersehen, au revior, until next time.
Post Script: Good to be back.
